When the going gets tough......"Just get tougher." That's the attitude that has helped Jason Petric achieve everything he has in his young career. In a short period of time, this 22 year-old from Winnipeg, Manitoba has developed a reputation as a solid musician and artist on the Manitoba music scene. His fresh sound and good looks are an asset, but it's his die hard work ethic that has gained him traction. Petric spent the better part of 2011 touring with MDM Recording artists Jason Kirkness and Jerry Sereda as an opening act and utility player. 

Petric reflects on touring as an unbelievable experience, "We went from British Columbia to Quebec, and then back to BC again in only a few months." Playing everywhere, from big clubs to small intimate shows, the band played everything including the MDM Recordings' Showcase at Canadian Music Week in Toronto. Throughout the intense touring schedule Petric still found time to release his debut self-titled EP and gain the attention of local Manitoba radio stations with his single "You're so Beautiful."

For 2012, Petric says he would like to continue playing wherever there's a stage and reaching people with his music. "When a song really connects with somebody it's magical. I just want to continue writing and spreading my love of playing music."
